Welcome

"EULA COOPER has lived in Texas for over 14 years.  Some consider Eula to be a legend who started recording at the age of fifteen in Atlanta, Georgia."

I am Eula Cooper Mack.  Cooper is my maiden name.   I am a student at Lone Star College.  This is a campaign to save my home for my child and me by paying off the HOA and a new submission to BOA.  I am asking for your donation.

In 2007 my husband had bladder cancer.  I had to pay what the insurance would not cover.  The surgery was very expensive and took everything.  He is in remission and is doing what he can to help his family.

On February 13, 2009, I was laid off from work.  I couldn't find a job but found a program that helped me get back in college.  I relied on student loans and financial aid to pay the mortgage and tried to get a loan modification with Bank of America (BOA) for 2 1/2 years,  DENIED!

The homeowner's association (HOA) is selling my home on November 6, 2012. BOA is trying to sell it on December 4, 2012.

I have not given up. We can still save our home by paying off the HOA and a new submission to BOA.

I am asking for your donations to help save our home.

God bless you and thank you for your kindness and generosity.

ANY AMOUNT WILL HELP!!

Eula

"I understand your situation, I was in a similar situation a few years ago.  If it weren't for the grace of God and a few of my neighbors, I would be homeless.

GO TO COLLEGE FOR FREE

I have been a student at Lone Star College since June, 2009, in the paralegal program. I could not find a job, but I attended college on a program sponsored by the Workfource. Workforce Solutions is where you would apply for Unemployment Insurance in Texas. I don't know what it is called in other states, however, they have government funding to help adults and students attend college to get a degree or certificate in job markets that need specialized skills.  Funding is provided for people with low incomes or receiving unemployment.  Ask about financial aid for the adult and/or youth program.

You may also get a one time rent or mortgage payment under the program.

You can find local information at www.wrksolutions.com.

For national information by state, go to www.usa.gov. .

Funding is on a first come first serve basis.  Please contact the Workforce ASAP!!f

(Funded by government in all states)

My son is a student at Lone Star College under the youth program.

NACA is a national organization that helps low income families with loan modifications, purchasing homes at a low interest rate and home sales.  They hold many events that allow you to get a loan modification on the spot.  NACA also holds classes that can prepare you to buy a new home and know what to expect prior to purchasing it.  You may contact them at www.naca.com or by calling 1-888-392-6222.

The loan modification process has been and can be very stressful, however, the banks do have funding to help. Call your legislators and let them know that you, too, are not getting the help that you need.  Federal funding has been provided to the banks.  Demand that they be released by the banks to help the people it is intended to help.
